This aluminum branch circuit is tied to a device that is not listed for use with aluminum wiring. All devices that are rated for use with aluminum wires are labeled CO/ALR. Any other label, such as CO/AU, is no longer considered to be acceptable for use. In its current state, the system should be considered to be a fire hazard. The entire system should be evaluated and upgraded by a licensed electrician, as s/he deems necessary.
